At Trusted Realty Advisors we understand that you will be administering three types of real property. One is a Move-in ready house, the other is a Fixer-Upper and the Third may be land. We have saved Administrators and Heirs thousands of dollars by persuading them NOT to invest money into remodeling projects that don't carry a significant rate-of-return and avoid disclosure liabilities that they otherwise do not have. 
If the house needs a lot of work then the house may be more suitable to sell "As-Is" to an investor. If a house is in move-in ready condition, but may need cosmetic repairs or fixtures updated, then we are not opposed to putting you in touch with a handy-man. Otherwise, we would like to see you keep the money in the estate.
